UPDATE: Emmaus raised over $3,500!
Thank you to those who joined us at Katie’s Pizza and Pasta in Rock Hill, MO, on May 24th for Give Back Tuesday. 100% of the proceeds from dine-in and carry-out orders went directly to Emmaus, with a total raised of $3,595!
ST. LOUIS, MO – Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria’s next Giveback Tuesday event will take place on Tuesday, May 23, in Rock Hill, Missouri. Funds raised from the day will be donated to Emmaus Homes, a nonprofit organization that enriches the lives of individuals with cognitive or developmental disabilities by fostering independence, inclusion, and self-advocacy.
‘We are so happy for the opportunity to partner with Katie’s Pizza and Pasta on Tuesday, May 23. Our supporters will not only enjoy delicious food and drinks, but also raise money to benefit the clients we serve,’ said Cindy Clark, President, and CEO of Emmaus Homes.
Emmaus Homes will use the funds raised from Giveback Tuesday to support their clients and empower them to live independently.
For 130 years, Emmaus has provided services to adults with developmental disabilities in the St. Louis metropolitan area. We continue to expand our community services while remaining focused on providing the people we support to live the life they want to live in the communities of their choosing. This year, Emmaus will provide over one million hours of direct support services throughout Franklin, Warren, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties to more than 150 adults with developmental disabilities.
